Sustainable Business Resources

BUY LOCAL! Support for local businesses sustains local economies, as the money you spend circulates back into the local tax base, school system, community infrastructure, etc. Recent studies show that nearly half every dollar spent in a locally-owned business stays in your community, compared to about $0.15 out of your dollar spent in a national chain or franchise store. Greening Your Business Seminar Series:
Enhancing Your Bottom Line Through Sustainability

What does it really mean to operate a business sustainably? Who has succeeded in evaluating business decisions from the economic, environmental, and social perspectives? What does it cost? What are the benefits? How can sustainability be used as a corporate priority to respond to today’s economy and business challenges?
