St. Louis Regional
Higher Education Sustainability Consortium:
Organization

Please refer to the diagram below for a visual interpretation of the organizational structure of the St. Louis Regional Higher Education Sustainability Consortium. This structure is the result of many meetings and brainstorming sessions, and we feel it currently reflects the needs and goals of the Consortium.

The St. Louis Regional Higher Education Sustainability Consortium is divided into multiple committees:

• Steering Committee
  The Steering Committee is composed of the subcommittee co-chairs as well as student and advocate representation. Current members include Katy Mike Smaistrla, Peggy Lauer, Marcia Lochmann, Karen Stallman, Peggy Moody, Beth-Anne Yakubu, Tim Gaidis, Tony Ruebsam, and students.
• Administration & Development Subcommittee
  The Administration & Development Subcommittee supports the mission and goals of the Consortium, making connections with corporate and community partners, securing the resources needed to implement initiatives and facilitating effective internal and external communication. Subcommittee Co-Chairs include Peggy Lauer (Maryville University). • Educational Collaboration Subcommittee
  The Educational Collaboration Subcommittee promotes greening across the curriculum to make sustainability relevant to all students. Subcommittee Co-Chairs include Marcia Lochmann (LCCC) and Karen Stallman (SWIC). • Initiative Incubator Subcommittee
  The Initiative Incubator Subcommittee assists in developing the initiatives, identify and facilitate specific projects that generate momentum to raise committee advocacy. Subcommittee Co-Chairs include Peggy Moody (STLCC) and Beth-Ann Yakubu (SLU).
