Green House Tour - Tickets $10
Explore certified-green local homes, featuring product and service experts and displays in each home. Carbon-saving option: Ride a Metro compressed natural gas bus. Advance tickets available at the Garden Gate Shop at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Tickets also available at EarthWays each morning of the Festival.
What you’ll see on the EarthWays Center Green Festival House Tour:
- The Green House Tour spotlights five new homes located in the City of St. Louis and inner-ring suburbs of St. Louis County.
- All tour homes are built to achieve Green certification from nationally recognized standard systems, including LEED-Homes, the Green Building Initiative and ENERGY STAR Homes.
- On the tour, you’ll see examples of energy efficiency heating & cooling systems, native landscaping, natural lighting, recycled and rapidly renewable materials and construction methods that protect the environment and create safe, healthy and efficient homes.
How to get tickets for the Green House Tour:
- EarthWays Center is the first stop on the house tour, with maps available only on festival dates, at EarthWays.
- Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the festival or in advance during September at the Garden Gate Shop, located in the Ridgway Center of the Missouri Botanical Garden.
Visit the homes on your own anytime from 10am to 4pm – or relax and reduce your carbon footprint on Metro’s compressed natural gas-fueled house tour bus, sponsored by Metro and Laclede Gas. There is no additional charge to ride the Metro house tour bus, but advance ticket purchase with a bus reservation is recommended to guarantee seating. The Metro house tour bus will depart from EarthWays Center at 11:30 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. on both festival dates.
