Nadav Malin, Vice President of BuildingGreen, Inc. and editor
of Environmental Building News consults and lectures widely on
sustainable design with a focus
on green materials. He is co-chair of the Materials and Resources Technical Advisory
Group for the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Rating System, and is
a LEED Accredited Professional. Malin consulted on materials, indoor air quality,
and water conservation for the Texas Sustainable Schools Project, and has participated
in various charettes on green design, including those for Habitat for Humanity,
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Engineering Research Laboratory, the
Building America program of the U.S. Department of Energy, the Department of
the Navy Housing Division, the Mount Greylock development project in Massachusetts,
and building facilities for Monsanto Corporation. BuildingGreen frequently serves
as a resource for architecture firms involved with design of state-of-the-art
green buildings.
