Education
Through our school-based, curriculum-enhancing educational programs and materials, we provide classroom and teacher presentations and resources … solid waste reduction, recycling, and air pollution. Lessons are hands-on,
interactive experiences that teach students how they can
make a difference.
Through professional training workshops,
seminars and consultations we offer businesses, community
agencies and homeowners resources to implement green practices
to achieve green profits.

Leadership in Environmental
Action Projects (LEAP)
LEAP is
a unique approach to resource education, which combines
waste reduction education and real-life application of
recycling solutions in the classroom. Students find that
LEAP works MEASURABLY!
Through this student action program, students
reduce, reuse and recycle trash from their schools and
communities, then inform others about solid waste and resource
issues. LEAP makes use of student/community partnerships
and cooperative learning to achieve these goals. LEAPing
Into Action Case Study Book. (1 MB Adobe PDF file).

Energy Efficiency Development (SEED)
SEED is
a unique, interactive year-long energy education program
which educates and empowers students, teachers and
other school staff to take action on energy efficiency.
Students are provided with opportunities to understand
the complex issues surrounding the production and use
of energy in today's world, using the school building
as the learning lab. Most importantly, SEED gives participants
the power to contribute to solutions. More about SEED ...
The 8-Step
Action Plan
Our 8step
problem solving process allows students to effectively
implement projects by developing their critical thinking
skills. This type of learning necessitates personal involvement.
Students invest themselves in the process because, through
experience, they become a part of the big picture. Teaching
and learning using The 8-Step Action Plan recognizes
students as integral players within a world of change.
Our
experience has shown that using an 8-step problem solving
process, students develop skills which go beyond the
mere memorization of information. They learn to make
decisions and take actions after proper problem solving,
not just jumping to action without following appropriate
steps. They learn how to narrow their focus and identify
important players on all sides of an issue. They learn
how to create an action plan, and how to evaluate and
assess the wide ranging effects that plan has throughout
the community. More about the 8-Step
